Job summary

Dental Care Alliance's Dentists’ Office of Hudson Valley is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician to maintain a clean, organized sterilization area and prepare instruments for patient care.

Full-time schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:45am–5pm, Friday–Saturday 7:45am–4pm. Sterilize hand pieces, set up trays, and assist with seating patients and x-rays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sterilization area and laboratory/office.
• Prepare instrument trays for procedures, including mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze.
• Sterilize hand pieces and air-water syringes; wipe and sanitize equipment.
• Assist with seating patients and treatment setup; develop x-rays as needed.

Dentists’ Office of Hudson Valley is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician.

Pay: 18-22per hour

Full time: Monday-Thursday 8:45am to 5pm, Friday – Saturday 7:45am to 4pm

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory/office and all tray set ups. All disinfected instruments placed in sterilization. New instrument set up placement on trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze). Hand pieces sterilized, air way syringes wiped clean. Monitor operatory supplies. Pour and trims models. Assist with seating of patients and treatment set up. Develop x-rays as needed. Insure cases ready for pick up. Other tasks as assigned.
