Job summary

Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley in New York is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of the laboratory and operatory hardware, including tray setups and instrument processing.

You will disinfect instruments, prepare new instrument setups, and assist with seating patients and treatment setup. The schedule runs Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5pm, Friday-Saturday 7:45am-4pm.

• Ability to interact effectively with other employees as well as with the general public.

Overview

Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician.

Pay: 18-22per hour

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory/office and all tray set ups. All disinfected instruments placed in sterilization. New instrument set up placement on trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze). Hand pieces sterilized, air way syringes wiped clean. Monitor operatory supplies. Pour and trims models. Assist with seating of patients and treatment set up. Develop x-rays as needed. Insure cases ready for pick up. Other tasks as assigned.
