Qualifications

• High school diploma and completion of ADA accredited dental assisting course.
• One year of dental assisting experience OR three continuous years of dental assisting experience with HS diploma.
• Certification in Radiation Safety required for positions responsible for dental x-rays.

Responsabilités

• 35%: chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry for resident providers across general to advanced specialty care.
• 30%: set up operatory for dental and surgical procedures; maintain and sterilize instruments; follow infection control policies.
• 10%: acquire or assist in acquiring radiographs (periapical, panoramic, cephalometric, 3-D imagery) per treatment plans.
• 10%: assist with transport and patient care; maintain patient privacy.
• 10%: manage dental supplies/inventory; maintain MSDS notebook; report equipment issues; handle exposure/incidents forms.
• 5%: support other clinic areas as directed; assist clinic manager as needed.
