Job summary

Monterey works with the Department of Veteran Affairs to contract with physicians to perform Compensation and Pension exams for veterans in the Huntsville area. You will see veterans in your office and provide findings in a medical report. Exams require no treatment or follow-up, and you are reimbursed directly.

We schedule cases based on your availability, aiming for at least one day per week, and you must have office space within 100 miles of Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• State license to practice.
• Experience performing Compensation and Pension exams for veterans is a plus.
• Panoramic X-Ray in office is required.
• Able to perform Range of Motion (ROM) for TMJ claims.
• Minimum availability 1 day/week.
• Office space within 100 miles of the job location.

Responsibilities

• Submit examination findings in a medical report.
• Exams require no treatment or follow-up.
• Willing to schedule soldiers/veterans based on your availability (1 day/week preferred).
• We reimburse you directly for exams.
• No complex claim submission or denials.
