Job summary

Monterey is seeking dental providers to join our provider network in Hartford, CT to perform Disability Exams for veterans and separating military members. The role requires a state license, a panoramic X-ray, and ROM assessment for TMJ claims.

Exams require no treatment or follow-up, with direct reimbursement. You choose how many days to work and we schedule visits with a 5–7 business day notice. Office within 100 miles of Hartford is preferred.

Qualifications

• State license to practice required.
• Experience performing Compensation and Pension exams for veterans is a plus, but not required.
• Must have a panoramic X-ray in-office.
• Ability to perform Range of Motion (ROM) assessment for TMJ claims.
• Minimum availability of 1 day per week.
• Office space within 100 miles of Hartford, CT location.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA Compensation and Pension exams for veterans and separating military members.
• Schedule exams with veterans at your office based on availability (aim for at least 1 day/week).
• Submit examination findings in an electronic medical report; no treatment or follow-up required.

How It Works:

Monterey works with the Department of Veteran Affairs to contract with physicians to perform Compensation and Pension exams for our country’s veterans who live in the area. Physicians will also provide pre-discharge head-to-toe physical exams for soldiers who live or are stationed in the area.

• These exams require no treatment or follow-up, and we reimburse you directly.
• We schedule soldier/veteran with your office, based on your availability (preferred to see Veterans at least 1 day/week).
• These exams have been outsourced by the VA to individual providers across the country.
