Job summary

Cary Prosthodontics is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant / Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role blends expert chairside support with patient-focused treatment coordination to guide patients through comprehensive treatment plans.

We reward strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and ownership of responsibilities, in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice. Some flexibility in scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental experience (prosthodontic preferred).
• DAII certification and X-ray certification.
• CPR certification and completion of coronal polishing course.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assisting during prosthodontic, restorative, cosmetic, and implant procedures.
• Educate patients on procedures, post-operative care, and treatment options.
• Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients and discuss fees and insurance.
• Coordinate complex treatment plans and ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
• Follow up with patients with unscheduled or pending treatment to improve case acceptance.
• Maintain accurate treatment estimates, financial documentation, and patient communications.
