Job summary

South Central Family Health Center in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a Dental Patient Services Representative to handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and eligibility verification in a fast-paced, compassionate setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of office experience (preferably dental), bilingual Spanish/English, and knowledge of medical terminology. Competitive base pay is $24.00 hourly plus benefits; full-time, non-exempt with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of office experience, preferably in a dental clinic setting.
• Vocational training in Office Administration, preferred.
• Medical terminology, a plus.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control & emergency policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Registers and processes patients for appropriate appointments and services, including scheduling and canceling appointments.
• Verifies eligibility for specific programs and services.
• Makes reminder calls for scheduled appointments and responds to patient inquiries.
• Intakes & outtakes of patients and conducts financial screening of patients.
