Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Office experience in a dentist's or physician's office preferred.
• Experience with children’s dentistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
• Greet parents and patients entering and leaving the office.
• Keep waiting area and front desk tidy and organized.
• Verify insurance prior to appointment and update Boomerang file.
• Coordinate with clinical team to enable same-day care when possible.
• Assist in meeting office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
• Schedule follow-up operatory and recall appointments.
• Answer calls and direct to the proper person; take messages as needed.
• Make outbound calls to confirm, reschedule, or remind patients about treatment needs.
• Re-file patient records at day end and adhere to regulations and company policies.

Education
