Qualifications

• Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent.
• Office experience in a dentist's or physician's office, preferred.
• Experience with children’s dentistry, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out and verify insurance eligibility and service limits.
• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Greet parents and patients entering and leaving the office.
• Keep waiting area and front desk tidy and informed of appointment progress.
• Verify insurance eligibility prior to appointments and record in the Boomerang file.
• Coordinate with the clinical team to provide same-day care when possible.
• Assist in meeting office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
• Schedule follow-up operatory and six-month recall appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to the proper person; take messages as needed.
