Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Patient Coordinator to support our dental offices and help deliver happy, healthy smiles across the community. You will warmly welcome patients, verify insurance coverage, and manage check-in/check-out while keeping the waiting area organized and welcoming.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in a dental or medical office preferred.
Experience with children’s dentistry preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.
Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
Greet parents and patients as they enter or leave the office.
Maintain a clean waiting and front desk area.
Schedule follow-up appointments and manage recall reminders.
Answer calls and direct to the proper person.
Assist with achieving office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
Ensure patient records are updated and filed.
Adhere to government regulations and company compliance programs.
Collect any out-of-pocket balances prior to treatment.
