Silfa Dental Aesthetics in Commack, NY is seeking a full-time Dental Patient Coordinator to be the pivotal contact for patients seeking cosmetic care. You will present treatments, explain options, and guide patients through financing, with collaboration across clinical and administrative teams.

The role includes scheduling, HIPAA compliance, insurance verification, billing, and producing production and collection reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as patient care coordinator or front desk in a dental or surgical practice.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance and third-party financing.
• Highly organized, coachable, and self-motivated.
• Experience presenting treatment options and discussing finances with patients.
• Some Saturdays are required.

Responsibilities

• Present and clarify dental treatments and guide patients through financial options.

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR DENTAL PATIENT COORDINATOR

As our Dental Patient Coordinator, you will engage with patients by presenting and clarifying dental treatments and guiding them through financial options, including third-party financing. Your role will involve collaborating with clinical and administrative teams for treatment acceptance and multi-visit planning. You'll manage appointment scheduling for various procedures, ensure HIPAA compliance in patient records, and oversee insurance verification, billing, and payment processing while maintaining transparent communication about costs. At day's end, you'll reconcile transactions and generate reports to confirm production and collection figures. You'll also support digital workflows, including cosmetic dentistry applications like Smile Design and 3D case planning, with provided training. Your proactive follow-up will help reinforce trust and clarity within our cosmetic dentistry practice.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• 3+ years of experience as a patient care coordinator or front desk role in a dental or surgical practice
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance and third-party financing
• Highly organized, coachable, and self-motivated
• Passion for patient care, storytelling, and creating unforgettable experiencesFamiliarity with digital dentistry, 3D printing, or Smile Design is a bonus
• Dental treatment planning experience, including the ability to confidently present treatment recommendations and discuss financial arrangements with patients
• Some Saturdays are required
