Family Dental Group in Flint, MI is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and assist with financial arrangements while supporting staff and doctors in a team-based environment.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, adaptability, and familiarity with dental office procedures. We offer a full-time schedule and benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, plus a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
• Answering Telephones
• Scheduling Appointments
• Maintaining Appointment Book
• Confirming Appointments
• Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
• Register Patients on sign in sheet
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Checking voicemail on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
