Family Dental Group in Flint, MI is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team and deliver a high level of patient care in a team-based environment.

You will answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with treatment plans and help patients with financial arrangements while supporting staff and the Office Manager. Be part of a warm, patient-focused practice that values excellent service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
• Experience answering telephone and providing patient service.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
• Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
• Answering Telephones
• Scheduling Appointments
• Maintaining Appointment Book
• Confirming Appointments
• Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
• Register Patients on sign in sheet
• Post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Checking voicemail on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
