Job description

Join to apply for the Dental Outreach Hygiene Assistant role at Konza Prairie Community Health Center.

Perform a variety of technical duties to assist Hygiene in the examination and treatment of patients; perform related duties involved in the care and maintenance of dental instruments, equipment, supplies, and record keeping. In Dental Outreach, the hygienist and outreach hygiene assistant collaborate to deliver care in non-traditional settings, such as schools and long-term care facilities, under the guidance of the sponsoring dentist. Must be dependable and have good attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Clean driving record required.
• 1 year of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or relevant work experience preferred.
• Certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification), preferred.
• 1 year of FQHC experience, preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
• CPR certification for Health Care Providers, preferred.
• Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Workers Recommendations.
