About the Role
- Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
- Manage front office duties: answer phones, handle mail and emails, communicate with patients and insurance companies.
- Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
- File insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
- Post payments and process accounts receivables.
- Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
- Collaborate with the team to implement dental systems to optimize office performance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA and protecting patient information.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years in dental or medical settings.
- Experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
- Prolonged sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Availability for periodic training sessions.
