Job summary

Delta Dental of Virginia Inc. seeks a network recruitment specialist to manage participating dentist networks across Virginia and support onboarding and education for offices.

You will build solid relationships with dentists and staff, coordinate meetings, and plan continuing education programs while traveling throughout the state. The role requires five years in the dental industry, an associate degree, and strong communication skills; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in the dental industry, including working in a dental office environment.
• Experience as a dental office manager, practice administrator, insurance coordinator, or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of dental office operations, CDT codes, dental benefits and claims submission processes.
• Proven ability to build relationships with dentists and dental staff.
• Strong customer service, communication, presentation and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with participating dentists and staff to support network retention and growth.
• Serves as primary contact for dental offices, delivering exceptional service and support.
• Provides education on navigating Delta Dental’s dentist website and portal.
• Uses dental terminology and CDT codes to assist with administrative questions and refer complex issues to internal teams.
• Coordinates onboarding meetings and facilitates onboarding for new participating offices.
• Travels across Virginia to visit offices, attend meetings, conferences and events.
