NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing dental lab team as a Dental Lab Technician Trainee. Paid training and advancement opportunities are offered in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Regular hours are 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, as well as a 401K with company contributions and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Detail oriented.

Responsabilités

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist.
• Pour models from impressions in proper material.
• Place models on articulators using correct technique.
• Articulate models using bites and ensure correct bite relationships.
• Check case for doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions for follow-up.
• Clean work area daily.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, MI.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
• Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
• Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
• Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day
• Clean work area daily
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• No experience required; paid training will be provided
• high school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Steamers
• Accelerator
• Glue

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
• Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation
