Job summary

National Dentex Laboratories (NDX) is hiring a Dental Laboratory Technician for our Green lab in Heber Springs, AR. The role involves preparing prescriptions, generating 3D virtual models from stone impressions, and designing durable frameworks with cosmetic appeal.

You will operate CAM software and CNC machinery to mill restorations, maintain equipment, and ensure precise, consistent results while collaborating with teammates on milling projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist
• Enter patient information and scan stone models to create a 3D virtual model
• Design dental frameworks/restorations that provide the patient with the proper function and aesthetics
• Place dental parts into CAM software to generate code for CNC machines
• Operate CNC machinery to fabricate dental restorations
• It is the dental technician’s job to insure all steps are followed, in order, to insure consistent, accurate results
• Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information
• Maintain machines weekly and make software updates as they become available
• Keep cases organized so that everyone on the milling projects can work as a team
• All other duties as assigned

We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Green in Heber Springs, AR, for a Dental Laboratory Technician.

The regular hours for this position are from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
