Job summary

Daniel Dental Lab in Macon, GA is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team. You will fabricate fixed and removable prostheses, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants, and work with implants and maxillofacial prostheses using CAD/CAM materials.

Required is CDT certification and an accredited dental lab program, with at least one year of experience. Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited dental laboratory technology program completion required.
• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a dental laboratory technician preferred.
• Experience in constructing, replacing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.
• Proficiency in CAM software such as 3Shape and Delfin.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates fixed and removable prostheses with natural teeth, implants, and maxillofacial prostheses.
• Fabricates prostheses with castable alloys, pressable ceramics, heat-cured acrylic, CAD/CAM materials.
• Restores natural teeth by fabricating crowns, fixed and removable bridges, dentures, and implants.
• Constructs prostheses for implantology and maxillofacial reconstructions.
• Receives physical impressions or digital models and studies dentists' instructions.
• Encases wax replicas with mold materials.
• Constructs prostheses replacing wax with plastic, metal or ceramic materials.
• Utilizes digital dentistry workflow and 3D printing and milling procedures, including care for digital lab equipment.
• Finish and polish dental prostheses prior to placement.
• Manage supply inventories and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Document processes and adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.
• Keep informed of advancements in dental laboratory technologies and techniques.
