Job summary

Frontline-Dental-Implant-Specialists in Ohio is seeking a meticulous Dental Lab Technician to fabricate prosthetics from digital scans and dental impressions, supporting a high-volume implant denture lab.

You will create implant-retained prostheses, dentures, crowns, and bridges, ensure precise shade matching, and maintain clean, safe lab conditions in line with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; certification preferred.
  • Dental Lab Tech Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with digital lab techniques and dental materials.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Create accurate models and prosthetics from digital scans or impressions.
  • Fabricate implant-retained prostheses, dentures, crowns and bridges as ordered.
  • Finish and shade-match with provider and patient when needed.
  • Maintain clean, sterile lab spaces and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
  • Prepare and ship cases as required.

Job Summary: Dental Lab TechnicianThe Dental Lab Technician works in the dental lab in the process of fabricating dental prosthetics as ordered by the provider. This position is for a progressive dental lab with a high volume of implant retained dentures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreates accurate models or prosthetics as ordered by the provider from the digital scan or dental impressions provided.Fabricates implant retained prosthetics, removable dentures, partials, crowns, bridges, occlusal guards, etc. as ordered by the provider.Correct irregularities, when possible, to achieve the proper outcome.Participates in try in and shade match with provider and patient as needed.Complete assigned tasks by the due date ordered by the provider.Keep the lab stocked with necessary supplies.Clean and disinfect all dental impressions, equipment, and working surfaces to the required standards.Keep the lab areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy, and sterile as appropriate according to health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers’ instructionsUse all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order.Be familiar and comply with all OSHA Health and Safety rules and guidance infection control and ensure safe disposal of sharps and clinical waste.Complete laboratory forms and/or perform other applicable lab duties as assigned.Deliver or ship cases as needed.Assist other members of the team as needed.Other tasks as assigned during production downtime.Required Skills and AbilitiesA good understanding of digital lab techniques, dental materials, and equipment requiredExcellent manual dexterityStrong attention to detailProfessional and punctualExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer skills required and proficiency in MS products a plusEducation and ExperienceHighschool diploma required.Dental Lab Tech Certification or prior equivalent experienceAdditional clinical certifications and/or expanded functions preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer or other desktop equipment.Ability to move within the lab as needed for fabrication, cleaning, and meetings.Ability to lift to 0-25 pounds if necessary.Company BenefitsComprehensive benefit package including competitive wages, health insurance, 401K, PTO accrual, and paid holidays.
