Job summary

Daniel Dental Lab in Illinois is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants. You will work with CAD/CAM materials and digital dentistry workflows, ensuring high-precision prostheses and quality control.

The role requires an accredited dental lab program and CDT certification, with a year of hands-on experience. You will collaborate with a dedicated team in a fast-paced lab environment and maintain equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Accredited dental laboratory technology program completion required.
• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a dental laboratory technician.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates fixed and removable prostheses in conjunction with natural teeth, dental implants, and maxillofacial prostheses.
• Fabricates prostheses with castable dental alloys, pressable ceramics, heat-cured dental acrylic, CAD/CAM dental materials.
• Restoring or replacing natural teeth by fabricating crowns, fixed and removable bridges, dentures, and dental implants.
• Constructing dental prostheses for implantology and maxillo-facial reconstructions.
• Receiving physical dental impression molds or computerized models from dental practices and studying dentists’ instructions.
• Encasing wax replicas of dental impressions with suitable mold materials.
• Constructing prostheses and devices by replacing wax with plastic, metal, or ceramic materials.
• Competent in utilizing digital dentistry workflow and 3D printing and milling procedures, including care for digital laboratory equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Performs prosthodontics& other associated procedures

• Fabricates prostheses with castable dental alloys, pressable ceramics, heat-cured dental acrylic, CAD/CAM dental materials.

• Finish and polish dental prostheses and devices prior to placement by dentists.

• Manage supply inventories, perform routine equipment maintenance, and facilitate repairs.

• Documenting processes, as well as adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.

• Keep informed of advancements in the field of dental laboratory technologies and techniques.

What You Need:

• Accredited dental laboratory technology program completion required.

• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) required.

• Minimum of one year experience as a dental laboratory technician (preferred).

• Experience in constructing, repairing, and restoring dental devices.

• Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, such as 3 Shape and Delfin Dental.

• Exceptional manual dexterity and precision.

• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented mindset
