Job summary

Hybrid Technologies, a fully digital dental laboratory in Orlando, is seeking a production technician to run our Imes-Icore mills and HeyGears 3D printers. This on-site role focuses on milling, printing, troubleshooting, and keeping cases moving to ship on schedule.

You will nest and mill cases, set up printers, troubleshoot equipment, manage a full queue, and verify finished work against Rx. We value mechanically minded, detail-oriented teammates who can work with CAM software and stay

Qualifications

  • Hands-on milling and/or 3D printing experience in a dental lab — required. You've run the machines yourself, not just watched them run.
  • Mechanically minded. When a machine acts up, your instinct is to diagnose it, not wait for someone else.
  • Comfortable on a computer and quick to pick up new software
  • Real attention to detail; you notice a bad margin or a fit that's off
  • Dependable and organized enough to manage a full queue with hard deadlines
  • Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work around grinding dust, investment, and printer resin

Responsibilities

  • Nest and mill cases in Hyperdent on our Imes-Icore mills across zirconia, titanium, cobalt chrome, PMMA, and wax
  • Mill custom abutments and implant bars
  • Set up, run, and post-process cases on our HeyGears 3D printers (wash, cure, support removal)
  • Troubleshoot the equipment — failed mills, broken tools, bad fits, calibration drift, print failures — and find the cause instead of just re-running the case
  • Handle machine upkeep: tool and bur changes, calibration, cleaning, blank and material inventory
  • Own the case queue and keep it moving so nothing misses a ship date
  • Check finished work against the Rx before it leaves the lab
  • Between machine runs: press, base, articulate, and trim models (we'll train you on our press workflow — no prior pressing experience needed)

Job description

Hybrid Technologies is a fully digital dental laboratory in Orlando. We manufacture in house on Imes-Icore milling machines, HeyGears 3D printers, and Hyperdent CAM software. We mill a full range of materials and case types: zirconia, titanium, cobalt chrome, PMMA, and wax for pressing — including custom abutments and implant bars. If you want to run more than just zirconia crowns, this is the place to be. This is a production and machine-operations role, not a design role. You won't be designing units — you'll be running the mills and printers, troubleshooting them, and keeping every case moving through the lab on schedule. We're a small team, so the milling room is yours to own.

What you'll do...

What we're looking for...

Prefer to have...

  • Hands-on time with Imes-Icore, HeyGears, or Hyperdent specifically
  • Experience milling metal — titanium or cobalt chrome
  • Experience with implant work: custom abutments, bars, or screw-retained cases
  • CNC, machine shop, or 3D printing background outside of dental

Schedule, pay, and benefits...

  • Monday through Friday, full-time, on site in Orlando, FL
  • Starting salary is based on experience with a pay review at 90 days
  • Paid time off
  • This is a role you can grow into rather than out of — as you take full ownership of the milling and printing room, there's room to grow in responsibility and pay.

How to apply...

Send your resume along with a few sentences on the equipment you've run — which mills, which printers, which nesting software, and which materials — plus the last equipment problem you diagnosed and fixed yourself.

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
  • Opportunities for advancement

Application Question(s):

  • How many years of dental laboratory experience do you have?
  • Which nesting or CAM software have you used?
  • Are you able to reliably commute to Orlando, FL for an in-person, Monday–Friday schedule?
  • Which materials have you milled?
