Job summary

Next Dental Lab, a high-volume dental laboratory, seeks a bilingual client support specialist to join the in-house team in Deerfield Beach. You will navigate our proprietary lab platform, support doctors, and help drive automation and AI-assisted workflows to reduce busywork.

Next Dental Lab is a high-volume dental laboratory serving dental practices across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Caribbean. We're looking for a bilingual client support specialist to join our in-house team in Deerfield Beach.

This is not an entry-level customer service role. We need someone who already speaks the language of dentistry — someone who can hear "the margin on #19 came in short" or "we need this back before a 3 PM seat" and know exactly what happens next, without a translation layer.

About the role

We run on our own proprietary lab platform: case intake, production tracking, doctor portal, and billing all live in software we built and continue to build. That means the way we support our clients changes as our tooling changes. We're actively layering in automation and AI-assisted workflows to cut the busywork out of the day, and we expect the person in this seat to grow with those tools rather than around them. If you like getting faster at your job every quarter, you'll do well here. If you want a script that never changes, this isn't the fit.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for doctors and their teams by phone, email, and chat
• Field case-specific questions — status, turnaround, shade and design questions, remakes, adjustments, shipping
• Triage clinical and technical issues, and route them to the right technician, designer, or department with the context they need
• Manage cases end-to-end in our platform: intake, notes, documentation, follow-through
• Work directly with production, CAD/design, and logistics to hit seat dates
• Proactively flag at-risk cases before the practice has to call us
• Help us pressure-test and improve new features and workflows as they roll out
• Communicate fluidly in English and Spanish across our doctor base

What you need (required)

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in dentistry. This is a hard requirement, not a preference.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken
• Comfort working in software all day, and genuine interest in tools that make the work faster
• Strong judgment under pressure — the ability to own a problem, not just log it
• Reliability, punctuality, and the willingness to work on-site as part of a team

Backgrounds we're looking for

Any one of these tracks qualifies:

• Dental practice:dental assistant, treatment coordinator, office manager, front office lead, hygienist, or licensed dentist
• Dental laboratory:CDT or lab technician, 3D case designer (exocad, 3Shape, Dental Wings, or similar), lab customer service or case management
• Dental technology:roles involving intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM, milling, printing, or dental AI/software platforms
• Dental sales or support:territory, inside sales, or technical support at a company such as Henry Schein, Patterson, iTero/Align, Zimmer Biomet, Dentsply Sirona, or another lab, supplier, or equipment manufacturer

Nice to have

• Experience with intraoral scanner files and digital case submission
• Familiarity with fixed and removable prosthetics terminology
• Prior experience implementing or adopting new software at a dental practice or lab

Schedule and location

On-site, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, in our modern, newly built office in Deerfield Beach, FL. This role is not remote.
