Job summary

Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ seeks a Dental Lab Coordinator to manage digital and traditional laboratory workflows, supporting students, faculty, and staff. The role involves operating scanners, CAD/CAM workstations, milling units, furnaces, and 3D printers, while ensuring quality control and safe protocols.

You will work with the Laboratory Manager and ITS, enhancing education through modern techniques, while maintaining documentation and contributing to research activities.

Qualifications

• Education in dental laboratory technology or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years dental laboratory experience including digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain digital and traditional laboratory equipment.
• Design and produce fixed/removable prostheses, implant restorations, surgical guides, models, and appliances using digital and conventional methods.
• Maintain digital hardware, software, libraries, and validated design parameters for reliable operation and reproducible outcomes.
• Provide hands‑on support to students, faculty, and staff in laboratory equipment and workflows.
• Present at professional meetings and training sessions; assist in audits and regulatory reviews.
