Job summary

Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ seeks a Dental Lab Coordinator to oversee digital and conventional dental laboratory workflows. The role reports to the Dental Laboratory Manager and supports students, faculty, and staff in operating CAD/CAM systems and lab equipment.

You will design and produce fixed/removable prostheses, implants, models, and guides using digital and traditional methods, while maintaining equipment, documenting workflows, and participating in QA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of dental laboratory experience, including at least 2 years with digital dental systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with one or more major dental CAD platforms (3Shape, Exocad, CEREC inLab).
• Experience with 3D printing, milling, CAM setup, material processing, QC and troubleshooting.
• Academic or customer-service oriented lab experience preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain digital and traditional lab equipment.
• Design and produce fixed/removable prostheses and implant restorations.
• Optimize digital design and manufacturing workflows (3Shape, Exocad, CEREC inLab).
• Provide hands-on support to students, faculty, and staff.
• Coordinate case workflows; adhere to safety, quality, and procedural standards.
