Job summary

Comfort Dental Group, Inc. in Colorado seeks a mid to experienced Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. You will verify insurances, quote procedures and assist in treatment planning, with a focus on PPO and Medicaid as needed.

The ideal candidate communicates well, enjoys working with people, and can manage front-office insurance duties. Prior Dentrix experience is preferred; bilingual speakers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with dental insurance verification, PPO and Medicaid where applicable.
• Bilingual abilities are helpful and valued.
• Comfortable leading the insurance segment of the front office.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly verify dental insurances and attach to family files.
• Follow up on claims and denials to maximize payments.
• Send pre-authorizations for planned procedures.
• Collect payments and close daily finances.
• Prepare the financial portion of treatment plans.
