Tulips Periodontics & Dental Implants - Richmond seeks a skilled Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our Virginia-based periodontal practice. You will perform thorough cleanings, chart periodontal status, and capture radiographs with a patient-focused approach, collaborating closely with the periodontist and team.

Licensure: Valid Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.
Communication: Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Clinical Excellence: High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced specialty environment.
Professionalism: A dependable work ethic and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Experience: Prior experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred.
Specialization: Previous experience in a periodontal practice is a significant advantage.
Specialized Periodontal Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including manual and ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and comprehensive periodontal maintenance.
Diagnostics and Charting: Conduct accurate periodontal charting and capture high-quality digital X-rays to assist in treatment planning.
Patient Education: Provide personalized oral health counseling, specifically tailored to the unique needs of periodontal and implant patients.
Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with the periodontist and the clinical team to coordinate treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of infection control, sterilization, and OSHA safety protocols throughout all clinical activities.
Professional Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records to ensure continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
