Tulips Periodontics & Dental Implants - Richmond in Chesterfield, VA seeks a caring Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our periodontal specialty team. You will perform thorough cleanings, perio maintenance, charting, and patient education with emphasis on quality over speed.

The position offers a Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with Fridays-Sundays closed. Competitive pay of $45–$60 per hour, based on qualifications, plus benefits including 401(k), health insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Virginia RDH license is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• X-ray/Radiography certification.
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certifications preferred.
• Infection control certification and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Specialized periodontal care including thorough cleanings and maintenance.
• Diagnostics and charting with digital X-rays for treatment planning.
• Provide patient education tailored to periodontal and implant patients.
• Collaborate with periodontist and team to coordinate treatment plans.
• Maintain high standards of infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance.
• Keep detailed clinical records for continuity of care.

Requirements

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Licensed dental hygienist

• Specialized Periodontal Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including manual and ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and comprehensive periodontal maintenance.
• Diagnostics and Charting: Conduct accurate periodontal charting and capture high-quality digital X-rays to assist in treatment planning.
• Patient Education: Provide personalized oral health counseling, specifically tailored to the unique needs of periodontal and implant patients.
