Job summary

Next Dentistry in Salinas, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join a high-quality clinical team. You will perform prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, take radiographs, educate patients, and maintain precise records with patient care at the core.

The ideal candidate holds a CA RDH license, X-ray certification, CPR, strong communication, organization, and dependable attendance. Experience with Dentrix, BOLA AI, Wand, and digital scanning is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental X-ray License or Radiology Certification.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR License or Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate competently and express thoughts and ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, in a high-quality clinical setting.
• Conduct thorough patient screenings, assessments, and take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene techniques, proper nutrition, and preventative care measures.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and document all procedures, findings, and treatment plans accurately.
• Utilize and actively engage with new technologies, such as BOLA AI for analysis, the Wand injection system, and digital scanning for all patients.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow employees and the public with a positive attitude.
• Increase professional knowledge and clinical skills through self-study and by attending relevant courses and seminars.
• Ensure dependable job attendance and follow through reliably with all assigned tasks.

Pay

• $70 - $75 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: Closed

Requirements

• Active and current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of California.
• Valid Dental X-ray License or Radiology Certification.
