Albert J. Hernandez, DDS is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Oxnard practice. You will perform dental X‑rays, coronal polishing, and fabricate temporary crowns while ensuring a welcoming patient experience. The role supports a busy clinic run by a family-owned team with 36+ years of service.

We offer a Monday–Thursday schedule, a stable hourly rate of $20–$22 based on experience, and opportunities for growth within a long-standing dental office in Oxnard, California.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Valid Dental X-ray certification is required.
• RDA or CDA preferred (entry-level candidates with the right skills encouraged).
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take high-quality dental X‑rays and perform coronal polishing.
• Fabricate temporary crowns with precision.

Pay

• $20 - $22 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Enjoy a 3-day weekend!)

Requirements

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice
• Certification: RDA or CDA preferred (Entry-level candidates with the right skills are encouraged to apply).
• Licensing: Valid Dental X-ray certification is required.
• Soft Skills: Strong customer service background, a responsible work ethic, and a positive attitude.
