Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a reliable, energetic Dental Hygienist to cover maternity leave from January through March 2027. The position focuses on delivering high quality pediatric dental care in a team-oriented environment, with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include a current dental hygiene license, graduation from a dental hygiene program, and a preferred minimum of one year of experience; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Current license & graduation from a dental hygiene school is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Additional certification or training is a plus; experience with Denticon or iTero is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis.
• Deliver high quality patient care.
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic.
• Screen patients to include a full medical history and take patient vital signs.
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, telephone calls, routine triage and other office duties as required.
