Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a PRN Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care in a correctional setting at our Regional Office in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves patient assessment, cleaning teeth, radiographs, and patient education, with responsibilities to maintain infection control and chart patient information.

You will work under a licensed dentist, with opportunities for ongoing training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Dental Hygienist program.
• Two years of dental hygiene experience.
• Correctional/detention facility experience is preferred.
• Current unrestricted dental hygiene license and active BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room and select materials and equipment for dental hygiene visits.
• Provide oral hygiene and postoperative instructions to patients and answer questions.
• Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and protect patient confidentiality.
