Join Our Team as a Dental Hygienist - Full Time

Our state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Buchanan serves Military Families and Veterans, emphasizing relationship-building and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily team huddles and weekly Hygiene Huddles.
• Clean teeth and beneath gum margins of calcareous deposits, stains, and accretions.
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
• Apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents.
• Chart dental conditions for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Present treatment plans and provide oral health education.
• Perform dental x-rays and impressions.
• Maintain accurate treatment records.
• Build rapport with patients and demonstrate organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered State Dental Hygienist License
• 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
• X-Ray Certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain a Real ID prior to employment
• Knowledge of Dentrix (training provided)
• Extensive HIPAA knowledge
