Valley Dental, located in Owings Mills, Maryland 21117, is hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist for our growing dental practice.

Schedule:

Tuesdays & Thursdays (8:00-5:00)

Previous RDH experience is a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply. The hygienist must have an active Maryland hygiene license or be in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services to improve patients' oral health. Candidates should be enthusiastic and committed to providing the highest level of care.
• Provide oral hygiene treatment and education under limited supervision, following state guidelines.
• Perform patient screening, medical history review, and dental charting.
• Apply fluoride and sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque above and below the gum line.
• Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Hygiene License or in the process of obtaining one.
