Beautiful Smiles By Design Dentistry in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a friendly, patient-centered team. We offer relocation assistance and a competitive hourly pay range with full-time/part-time options.

You will perform prophylaxis, SRP, radiographs, and patient education in a modern practice. Ideal candidates hold a Tennessee RDH license (or reciprocity) and bring strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee RDH license (or eligibility via reciprocity).
• Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic patient chairside manner.
• Anesthesia/Nitrous Oxide certification is a plus but not required.
• New graduates and out-of-state applicants are welcome; relocation assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and therapeutic care (prophylaxis, SRP, periodontal maintenance).
• Perform periodontal charting and risk assessments.
• Apply fluoride and sealants; take and interpret radiographs.
• Educate patients on home care and oral hygiene techniques.
• Coordinate with dentists, assistants, and front desk for smooth daily flow.
• Maintain accurate charting and adhere to infection control/OSHA standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist with us, you will provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic care, helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Clinical Excellence & Hygiene Care:

• Perform high-quality adult/child prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal maintenance.

• Conduct thorough periodontal charting and risk assessments.

• Apply preventive treatments including fluoride and dental sealants.

• Take and interpret precise digital dental radiographs (X-rays).

Patient Education, Safety & Collaboration:

• Educate patients on custom oral hygiene techniques, periodontal disease prevention, and home care.

• Build long-term, trusting relationships with patients to encourage consistent care and retention.

• Partner closely with dentists to assist with comprehensive treatment planning.

• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical charting in our practice management system.

• Strictly adhere to infection control, sterilization standards, and OSHA guidelines.

• Coordinate actively with dental assistants, front desk personnel, and office leadership to ensure a smooth daily flow.
