Job summary

Pleasant View Smiles in Pleasant View, TN is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient‑centered team. You will review xrays, perform prophylaxis and contribute to a caring, compliant practice.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:40 AM–5:00 PM with a 1‑hour lunch. Compensation is $40–$43 per hour plus a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. We offer state‑of‑the‑art equipment, generous PTO, 401(k) with company match, health/vision/life insurance, FSA/HSA and ongoing CE support.

Qualifications

• Current Certification from an accredited Hygiene Program.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience with dental software (Dentrix or Eaglesoft).

Responsibilities

• Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes.
• Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims.
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
• Successfully complete Scaling and Root Planning and/or Prophylaxis.
• Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Serve as a point of escalation for both patient and team relations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.
