Responsibilities

The Dental Hygienist will deliver general dental hygiene services to residents in nursing homes, assisted living, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions

• Provide routine dental cleanings.
• Conduct digital x-rays.
• Follow OSHA guidelines for patient care, material disposal, and sterilization.
• Enter patient information and complete clinical documentation using the EMR system.
• Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities for mobile treatments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RDH certification.
• State professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of dental hygiene.
• Ability to work independently daily.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with using email, internet, and healthcare software.
