Dental Hygienist

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Georgia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Open to both experienced hygienists and new grads
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall dental health maintenance
• Flexibility to meet office-specific clinical needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to employment, as part of our health and safety commitment. This is not applicable in FL & TN.
