Responsibilities

• Taking digital radiographs
• Charting existing conditions and proposed treatments
• Periodontal charting
• Routine prophylaxis
• Fluoride application
• Placing sealants
• Soft tissue management
• Scaling and root planning
• Presenting proposed treatments, including insurance coverage and patient co-pays
• Maintaining accurate notes

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license and BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with digital x-rays and intraoral photos
• Knowledge of ADA codes
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law
