Dental Hygienist

Hanfield Village Dental Care is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Hours Needed: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-2:00pm (4-day work weeks)

About Hanfield Village Dental Care

Each Heartland Dental-supported office, including ours, is unique to its community. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained onsite team, and a vast national network, you'll be fully supported with resources and expertise from Heartland Dental.

• Join a collaborative, communicative, and community-oriented team of 10 members.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records
• Desire to learn and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
• Ability to meet office-specific clinical needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Prolonged sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training
• TB test required before employment, except in FL & TN
