City Dental in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused team. The office operates Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM, offering a four-day work week and a collaborative, technology-forward environment with digital x-rays and intraoral cameras.

Qualifications

• Must have NC dental hygiene license and certifications.
• Experience with digital x-rays and intraoral cameras.
• Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene techniques.
• Knowledge of infection-control protocols and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct oral health assessments, including reviewing patient history and examining for signs of disease.
• Perform dental cleanings, removing plaque, tartar and stains.
• Apply fluoride and sealants to prevent cavities.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, brushing, flossing and diet.
• Operate digital X-ray equipment and intraoral cameras.
• Record and evaluate patients’ dental histories and treatment progress.
• Collaborate with dentists in planning treatment and provide recommendations for care.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace adhering to infection-control protocols.

• Conduct oral health assessments, including reviewing oral health history and examining patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis.
• Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
• Apply fluoride and sealants to prevent cavities.
• Educate patients about proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
• Operate digital x-ray equipment and intraoral cameras.
• Record and evaluate patients’ dental histories and document treatment plans and progress.
• Collaborate with dentists in planning treatment for patients, assisting in consultations, and making recommendations for care.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to infection-control protocols and all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of medicine, dentistry, dental health, and safety regulations
• Candidates must have all applicable NC licenses & certifications.
