Job summary

Ghorshi Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinical care and patient education in a team-focused environment. The role emphasizes thorough health history reviews, patient education on oral health, and assisting with procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC licenses & certifications.
• Background in dentistry and safety regulations.
• Experience or willingness to learn dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review oral health history and conduct initial mouth screening.
• Educate patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health.
• Take X-rays and develop dental impressions and radiographs of teeth.
• Remove plaque, clean teeth, and help to prevent gum disease.
• Support the Dentist on all aspects of dental care.
