Job summary

Benevis is hiring a Dental Hygienist in Baton Rouge, LA. The position offers $45-$53 per hour with production pay, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with match.

You will deliver compassionate care, perform hygiene procedures under supervision, and educate patients and families on oral hygiene, while following all regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Current state Dental Hygienist license.
• CPR/BLS certification from ARC or AHA with hands-on skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application under supervision.
• Offer same-day care when possible to provide excellent service.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene.
• Assess dental condition and review medical history.
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed.
• Follow all government regulations and company standards.

What You’ll Do As a Dental Hygienst

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed
• Follow all government regulations and company standards

What You’ll Need

• Current state Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required at hire)
