Taylor Dental & Braces – a Benevis company in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Dental Hygienist to deliver compassionate care under general dentist supervision. The position offers hourly pay in the $45-$53 range and production pay, with comprehensive benefits.

You will perform scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride and related procedures; educate patients and families; maintain charts and follow regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state Dental Hygienist license.
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed
• Follow all government regulations and company standards

What You’ll Do As a Dental Hygienst
