Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Dental Hygienist in Baton Rouge, LA to deliver quality, compassionate care under general dentist supervision.

The role pays $45–$53 per hour with production pay, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and continuing education support. Qualifications

• Current state Dental Hygienist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application under dentist supervision.
• Provide same-day care when possible and educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Assess dental condition and review medical history with patients and parents.
• Guide families through the full treatment process and assist with charting and filing x-rays.

What You’ll Do As a Dental Hygienst

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed
• Follow all government regulations and company standards

What You’ll Need

• Current state Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required at hire)
