Taylor Dental & Braces - a Benevis company in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Dental Hygienist. You will deliver quality, compassionate care, perform scaling and prophylaxis, take x-rays, sealants, fluoride, and related procedures under dentist supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision.
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene.
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history.
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.

$45-$53/hour

plus production pay

What You’ll Do As a Dental Hygienst

• Deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, sealants, fluoride application, and related procedures under general dentist supervision
• Offer same-day care whenever possible to provide excellent customer service
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene
• Assess dental condition and needs, and review patients' medical history
• Guide parents and patients through the full treatment process
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
• Take and file x-rays in patient charts as needed
• Follow all government regulations and company standards

What You’ll Need

• Current state Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required at hire)
