Job summary

Luma Dentistry in Birmingham is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. We are dedicated to providing quality patient care and building strong community relationships within Central Alabama.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong periodontal treatment approach and excellent communication skills while supporting a family-like team environment. Flexible scheduling is available, with specific working hours on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to treat adults in 60-minute appointments and children under 13 in 30-minute appointments.
• Willingness to co-diagnose periodontal disease, caries, and other dental conditions.
• Local infiltration permit is a plus.

• Strong periodontal treatment approach
• Ability to treat:
  • Adults in 60-minute appointments
  • Children under 13 in 30-minute appointments
• Willingness to co-diagnose periodontal disease, caries, and other dental conditions
• Strong patient communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable, punctual, and maintains professional integrity
• Dentrix experience preferred
• Local infiltration permit is a plus

Schedule (Part-Time)

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No Lunch)
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No Lunch)
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No Lunch)
