Job summary

Luma Dentistry in Montevallo, AL, is seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our caring, patient-focused team. You will chairside assist, take radiographs, and help prep and sterilize instruments in a modern, supportive practice.

Fridays are the scheduled day: 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM, with opportunities for growth in a long-standing community-focused clinic. We value reliability, teamwork, and delivering high-quality patient care every day.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience required.
• Experience with Dentrix preferred.
• Ability to take radiographs.
• Experience with crowns, implants, and root canals.
• Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
• Passion for helping patients and being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures.
• Take and process X-rays.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories.
• Support procedures including crowns, implants, and root canals.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient care.
