Job summary

Luma Dentistry in Birmingham, AL is expanding and seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our long-standing team. The role involves delivering high-quality hygiene care, co-diagnosis, and partner collaboration to ensure patient comfort and optimal outcomes.

Schedule includes Tue, Thu, and Fri with 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on select days; no lunch break. Join a family-like team focused on compassionate dental care and community relationships.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama RDH license required.
• Strong periodontal treatment approach.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to treat adults in 60-minute appointments and children under 13 in 30-minute appointments.
• Willingness to co-diagnose periodontal disease, caries, and other conditions.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dentrix experience preferred.
• Local infiltration permit a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients in a part-time schedule.
• Coordinate with the dental team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control standards.
