Towncare Dental of Altamonte Springs is searching for a part-time Dental Hygienist to work at our office located at 820 N State Rd 434, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.

• Schedule: 3 days a week with potential for full-time (Monday, Wednesday, and Tuesday or Thursday)
• A malleable patient census
• New Graduates are welcome to apply
• X-Ray License is required
• Active or pending Florida Hygiene license

Responsibilities

• Deliver periodontal therapies and hygiene-related services to improve patients' oral health, providing the highest level of care.
• Provide oral hygiene treatment and education under limited supervision, in accordance with state guidelines.
• Conduct patient screening, medical history review, and dental charting.
• Apply fluoride and sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
• Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Hygienist
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene school; current state license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
